Our e-giving platform has recently been updated with a new, single landing page for giving to Foothills. This single page provides registered users access to account history, new or unregistered users the ability to make quick gifts without an account, new user account setup and the ability to set up recurring gifts. We hope this change will make it easier for you to manage your giving to Foothills and its ministries.
Current users will need to set up a new password to access their account. Here are the required steps:
- Visit the new platform and enter the User Email associated with the account. If you don’t recall the email used, please contact Karen Salvetti at 503-829-5101.
- Click on the “Forgot Password” link. This can be found above and to the right of the Password field in the form.
- A temporary password will sent to the email provided.
- Return to the login screen and login with your email and temporary password. You will be prompted to create a new password for future login.
New users can choose to set up an account or make a gift without registering. Click here to get started!
**Card vs. Check
Question: What is the difference between giving electronically by check versus using a debit or credit card?
Is it safe to give online?
Yes. The security of the system is continually managed by Stewardship Technology.
From what types of bank accounts can I give?
You can give online from your checking or savings account.
Can I use a credit card to make a contribution?
Yes. You can use Visa or MasterCard. We recommend that you give with a credit card only if you pay off your credit card each month.
Can I use a debit card to make a contribution?
Yes. You can use your debit card.
Are there any fees involved with giving online?
Not to you. You will not pay any fees with an online gift. When you give by credit/debit card a percentage of your donation goes to the credit card company rather than the church. Contributions made by electronic check cost just pennies per transaction. The church and its ministries will benefit more from your donation when you give by check.
How do I make a recurring gift?
To make a recurring gift, create an account, log in using your username and password, and schedule your gift by clicking on “Add Gift” under the “Gifts” tab.
If I want to set-up a recurring gift, what are my options for frequency of my gift?
For recurring gifts, you have the option of giving weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, twice a month, quarterly, annually.
Can I change my personal information or the amount or the frequency of my gift once I have set it up?
Yes. You can change or cancel your contribution at any time before the date of the contribution. If you have an account, simply log in to the system using your user name and password and make the necessary changes.
Can I review my donation history online?
Yes. When you set up an account, the site will allow you to view the complete history of your online contributions.
Will I still receive regular contribution statements from the church?
Yes. The church will continue to send year-end contribution statements for tax purposes. These statements will reflect all your contributions to Foothills Community Church including those made online.
When will contributions by electronic check be taken from my bank account?
Contributions made by electronic check will be taken from your specified bank account within 4 business days. If the date of your contribution falls on a weekend or a holiday, the transaction will be initiated on the next banking day.
When will contributions made by credit/debit card be charged to my account?
If you make a contribution using your credit/debit card, the transaction will be initiated immediately and will appear on your account within 4 business days.
Can I designate my gift to a particular cause?
Donations are deposited into the Foothills General Fund. If you’d like to designate your contribution, please feel free to use the comment field.
How will I know that I set up my gift correctly?
Immediately after submitting your contribution, you will receive an e-mail verifying your contribution.
I have additional questions about online giving that have not been addressed. Who can I talk to?
For any questions, concerns or comments about the online giving system, please contact us. You will receive a response from our staff as soon as possible.
