Foothills Community Church Scholarship Program
Foothills Community Church recognizes the cost of higher education is steadily increasing to soaring amounts. Financial assistance has become a real life factor facing graduating seniors desiring to further their education at an institute of higher learning. The rising cost of higher education can impact the dreams, desires, and hopes of today’s students and tomorrows leaders.
Foothills Community Church believes in building lives with purpose through God’s POWER, Prayer/Outreach/Worship/Edification/Relationship. Foothills Community Church exists to reach and impact the surrounding community and the lives of the residents. Foothills Community Church has committed itself to being a powerful influence in the communities of Molalla, Colton and the surrounding area.
Towards the goal of community transformation, Foothills offers two college scholarships
to graduating seniors from Molalla and Colton High Schools, Country Christian School, or any
graduating senior who is a member of Foothills Community Church. The $1,000 scholarships are based on the core values of Foothills Church.
Scholarship application packets are available on line. The Application packet includes Hints for Scholarship preparation and completion and Commonly Asked Questions.
Qualifications:-
You DO NOT have to be a member of Foothills Community Church or any church to apply. The scholarship is NOT based on church membership. See our Purpose Statement.

The Scholarship is open to any graduating senior of Molalla, Colton, or Country Christian School, or member of Foothills Community Church who will be entering a two or four year college, university, or trade school in the Fall following graduation.

A 3.0 GPA is preferred but not required.
SAT OR ACT collegiate test scores ARE required.
Essays and Letters of Recommendation ARE required.
You will be judged on neatness, grammar, spelling and ability to follow instructions.
