PURPOSE: To help alleviate some of the burden families face in feeding their children, Foothills Community Church, with the help of community members and other area businesses, is collecting non-perishable food to provide children with a supply of food and snack items to take home each weekend.

*Hungry children have more social and behavioral problems because they feel bad, have less energy for complex social interactions, and cannot adapt as effectively
